Our story

A new agency, honest about it.

OOPS Mango is the playful creative agency of RATdeck. RATdeck is the calm, professional side: websites, SEO and growth for established businesses. We’re the side that leads the creative strategy and the look.

We’re new, and we’d rather tell you that than dress it up. What we can show you is real: three live brands we designed and built for our own businesses, still trading today, plus social design for our sister brands and our clients.

We share RATdeck’s delivery discipline, so a fun idea still ships on a fast, well-built website. If your project is more operational than creative, we’ll tell you, and point you to RATdeck.

What we believe

Four rules we work by.

  • Ideas with a twist.

    Safe is forgettable. Every brand gets one idea worth remembering, then we make it work hard.

  • You see it rough first.

    The idea comes to you as a sketch before anything gets polished. Cheaper to change, easier to love.

  • We design for the checkout.

    Our own brands sell online every day, so we design for the sale, not just the screenshot.

  • Plain English, always.

    No jargon and no 40-slide decks to explain a logo. If we can’t say it simply, we haven’t worked it out yet.

How we work

Five steps. No surprises.

  1. Short brief

    You tell us what’s broken, boring or missing. Messy briefs welcome.

  2. Direction, in rough

    We dig in, then show you one clear idea as a sketch before anything gets polished.

  3. Scope you can read

    What’s included, what isn’t and what it costs, in plain words. Changes and extra costs stay out in the open.

  4. Make it

    Identity, site, store or campaign: designed and built, with you signing off at each step.

  5. Launch and look after it

    We check it on real phones, launch it, and stay around for the first wobble.
