Ecommerce website design
Ecommerce website design for stores that need more.
WooCommerce and custom online stores for brands that need more control than an off-the-shelf store gives them. Designed for the checkout, not just the screenshot.

The problem
Attractive stores still lose sales at the small moments.
Unclear sizes, hidden delivery costs and a long checkout quietly cost sales every day. A redesign that only changes the look will not fix them.
We run online stores ourselves, so we design for those moments first, then make the whole store look like your brand.

Process and approvals
You approve every stage.
Audit or plan
For a redesign we audit what to keep, fix and add; for a new store we plan the catalog. Then a written quote with scope and price.
Catalog and checkout design
Catalog, product, cart and checkout designed around your product options, filters and size guidance. You approve before the build.
Build in stages
WooCommerce or a custom build, developed in stages on a preview link, with payment, shipping and tax set up with your providers.
Redirects and checks
Old URLs redirected when redesigning, then speed, mobile and accessibility checks before anything goes live.
Launch and training
We launch, train your team on orders and products, and hand over the logins and files you own.
Clear terms
No surprises, in writing.
Revisions
Each stage includes the rounds of changes listed in your quote. Once you approve a stage, further changes to it are quoted as new work, so nothing gets added to your bill by surprise.
Ownership and handover
Once the project is paid in full, the final approved work is yours. Third-party items such as fonts, stock photos, themes, plugins and apps stay under their own licenses. The store code, content and admin access are yours, on hosting in your name.

Should my store be on Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify is simpler to run and suits most DTC brands. WooCommerce or a custom build suits stores that need unusual product options, deeper content or full control of hosting. We will recommend the right one on our call.
Can you redesign my store without hurting my search traffic?
Yes. We map your existing URLs, keep the pages that earn traffic and set up redirects for anything that moves.
Can you add custom features to my store?
Yes. Our development team at RATdeck builds custom product options, integrations and workflows when a plugin will not do the job well.
Who looks after the store after launch?
You can run it yourself after our handover, or ask us for ongoing care: updates, backups, speed and small changes.
Is the checkout secure?
We use established payment providers and keep the store software updated at launch. You choose the payment providers and pay their fees directly.
How much does ecommerce web design cost?
WooCommerce store: Starter starts at $1,999 and Premium at $2,999 (USD). Every project starts with a written quote: what we will make, the rounds of changes included, the timeline and the price. Projects under $5,000: 50% upfront to book your slot, 50% on final approval. Projects of $5,000 or more: 40% at kickoff, 30% at design approval, 30% at launch.
How long does it take?
WooCommerce store Starter typically takes 3 to 4 weeks, and Premium 4 to 6 weeks. The exact timeline is in your written quote and depends on how quickly approvals and content come back.
